Christmas in London ~Hohohoho 倫敦的聖誕色彩

在倫敦的這一季聖誕， 有耀眼的彩燈、炫目的櫥窗設計、滿街的購物人潮，還見識了上千的聖誕老人年輕人男人和女人齊聚一堂的盛況！ 在倫敦的這一季聖誕， 少了夢想中的白雪覆蓋，卻多了令人驚嚇的狂風呼嘯； 少了家人在身邊的陪伴，慶幸還有新舊朋友的共樂； 暫時擱下即將面對期末考的隱憂，借用美食美酒的襯托，好好慶祝這個普天同慶的佳節吧！ 祝大家平安夜平安，聖誕節快樂！

Colourful Lightings, Beautiful Decorations, Happening Christmas Markets, Crowded Shopping Complexes and Thousands of Santa and Santana marching on the streets...that's the colour of Christmas here in London! Well, there is no snow yet but only lots of strong winds (which has just blown away the fences, omg!), it's cold out there but it's warm at home...With hot food, nice wine and great friends, it's still a great season celebration with bundles of joy (and some hidden stress for coming exam, lol!). Merry Christmas everyone!

Winter Solstice @London

Happy Winter Solstice! Though we are 8 hours behind, the celebration is still completed with the ready-made glutinous rice and home-made dinner. Sumptuous and fulfilling one. 纵然迟了八个小时， 终究，还是吃了汤圆，长了年岁; 希望随之持续增长的，是生活的睿智，人生的历练和态度的精进。冬至快乐！

I miss the stunning colours of Autumn, somehow looking forward for the white Christmas... 在英國的首個秋季雖已遠去，那絢麗迷人的色彩，在眷念和回味中，久久不散； 冬季降臨，聖誕節的跫音也叩門在即，愈趨刺骨的寒風會帶來白色聖誕嗎？

Little kitchen ~Butternut squash

This 'melon-like plant' has been left on the kitchen shelf for months as no one knows how to deal with it...after found out it's actually called Butternut squash (aka butternut pumpkin aka winter squash), few different dishes were successfully made. Nice, and nutritious. ;p 原來這顆東西是老外南瓜，擱在廚房好幾個月才弄懂這是什麽東西！ 結果，把它煮成了金瓜粥，金瓜番薯糖水，蝦米炒南瓜，南瓜雞肉焗飯`。。。 味道香甜，營養價值也高。 下回，在超市看到可以買咯！ 拿來烤的，或者煮成老外的濃湯，應該也很棒。 聽説，連種子也可以烤來吃呢！ 呵呵。 下回試試。

Finally, all assignments dateline for first semester are killed! It's time to take a deep breath, a relax meal, and more importantly, a longer hour of sleep before another battle on exam preparation begins. Good night London. 总算把第一学期的最后两份报告交上了。虽然期末考试近在眉睫，可是先不管了，先来个深呼吸，大放松，然后，我要睡到自然醒！大家晚安咯！

My kitchen~ 家鄉裏媽媽的味道的衍生。。。

一个人在家赶功课的星期六，脑筋和肚子同时闹革命的当儿，跑去厨房，切菜洗米浸香菇，爆香葱蒜煎些小鱼仔和腊肠，再和米一起炒香后，放水下去锅里焖煮。。。约莫半个小时后，热腾腾的"腊味"饭上桌咯！一整天的膳食有着落了，继续冲刺的能量也获得补充了。。。 一整天的膳食有着落了。。。 繼續中刺的能量也獲得補充了。。。 昨天的咖喱飯和今天的臘味飯，都是即興作品， 也是家鄉裏媽媽的味道的衍生。。。 A quick and simple cooking of yesterday 'Curry Rice" and today's "special mixed rice" filled up the energy I need for whole day to continue battle on two last assignments before the semester ends....
