Little kitchen ~Butternut squash

This 'melon-like plant' has been left on the kitchen shelf for months as no one knows how to deal with it...after found out it's actually called Butternut squash (aka butternut pumpkin aka winter squash), few different dishes were successfully made. Nice, and nutritious. ;p 原來這顆東西是老外南瓜,擱在廚房好幾個月才弄懂這是什麽東西! 結果,把它煮成了金瓜粥,金瓜番薯糖水,蝦米炒南瓜,南瓜雞肉焗飯`。。。 味道香甜,營養價值也高。 下回,在超市看到可以買咯! 拿來烤的,或者煮成老外的濃湯,應該也很棒。 聽説,連種子也可以烤來吃呢! 呵呵。 下回試試。
