Adapting in London
15 Sept
-Had a good sleep and awaken by the morning sunlight at 7am. Spent 2 hours unpacking luggage and feeling nice to see my tiny but tidy room with cozy surrounding and great housemate! Housemate brought me out for groceries shopping at the Bromley high street. The weather turned into drizzle and the winds getting stronger luring me to buy a new jacket! Haha! That's my first Sunday in London. What a fruitful Sunday ya!
16 Sept,
-This is a sunny morning! Grab this opportunity to step out and strolling along Geraint Road for some photo shooting. That's usual me in my new jacket and old camera, showered by the blink blink sun and blue blue sky. I'm loving it!
Malaysians in British: still get to enjoy Malaysian cuisine as dinner besides having British milk & bread & cheese & ham as breakfast...hehe..we ate Chinese wine chicken, Chinese sausage fried leek, steam minced pork with dried squid, steam sea bass, and of course my signature tom yam fried "Vietnam kuey tiaw" (no choice :p)! Not forgetting the home made XO sauce mixed with Jasmine rice..yum yum! Furthermore, we even practice calligraphy! Haha!
But Malaysian skin still trying to adapt to British dry weather and starts peeling off here and there...using British yoghurt as face mask is the wise solution and it dies help!
Well, I'm adapting very well over here, thanks to my nice housemates.
Thanks to everyone care for me out there too!
Muacks!
Today is my first day going to my uni attending orientation program. Wish me luck! ;p
