玩转Disney Sea, Japan ~27 Nov 2011

This year Disney Sea celebrates it's 10th anniversary.
The park is so huge with 7 themes inside a world of aquatic wonder.
However the crowd is also huge where every corner of the park is filled with people and people.
The queue for every single ride and show is so long and the waiting hours marked 2 hours in average.
For the whole day, only managed to watch 2 shows and took 5 rides.
Anyhow, the Disney dream is fulfilled and I am satisfied.

Kamakura ~

Good weather (although still very cold) + multinational participants (although unable to know all of them) + nice volunteer guides from "Kanagawa Systematized Goodwill Guide" (although majority of them are at their golden age but still walk as fast as youngster and shared great stories along the way) + Spectacular scenery + Great Buddha = Wonderful one day trip in Kamakura.

what am I doing in Japan?

There has been many friends asking as we are here in Japan for official purpose or personal travel in actual...
Well, I do admit that we are indeed grabing every single opportunity for travelling around but that's only after office hour or weekends.
Most of the time, our packed traninig schedule is full of lecturers, study visits (manufacturers, hospitals, pharmaceutical universities, government a...gencies etc), discussions, assignments and presentations despite some other cultural activities and sports that are provided in the JICA centre.

Working hard and playing hard at the same time, my motto of life desu ne. LOL :p

White Christmas in Japan

那惊叹连连的窃喜,算是已经感染到白色圣诞的欢愉了;

White Christmas in Toyama, although the snow is unreachable but the spectacular view has already embedded in our memory.
Came back to Tokyo in the evening and continued our exploration to Odaiba, the artificial island. Enlightened by another amazing snowing of light rays in the Pallette Town and made 'Snow Wish'.
"When your wish touch the sky, snow will dance in the air with happiness".
Yes, the happiness pursued by the surprise to witness Eclipse on the way back, right in the middle of Tokyo.
Certainly, a special day to remember. :-)

White Illumination Toyama

Today is a happy happy day!
After having fruitful plant tour and visit to the research institute, touring around the White Illumination Toyama under the temperature of nearly 0 degree was just 'shiveringly' exciting!!!
Scrumptious shashimi and shabu-shabu dinner ended the day with 'burpingly' satisfaction...Yokata-ne!!!
I have rang the HAPPY BELL and wish all the people that I love stay happy always!!!

Little speech in Toyama ~_~

This morning had meeting with the Board of Directors of Health & Welfare Department, Toyama Prefecture Government, felt so honoured and amazed by their great hospitality.
All the directors were queuing up in a line and bowed to welcome each of us, few photographers and videographers surrounded us with non-stop flash and spotlight, just like hosting celebrities! Haha!!
I represented all delegates in delivering ‘thank you speech’, not really well-prepared but with my sincerity and spontaneous the outcome seems to be quite satisfactory. LOL

Weekends Getaway in Japan ~Hakone 箱根 +Kamakura 鐮倉

箱根湯本富士山下,天涼水暖泡湯最爽;

4 Dec 2011:
Visited Hakone in Kanagawa Prefecture and enjoyed the remarkable view of Mount Fuji standing behind the Lake Ashi, glittering under the sun due to reflection of the sunlight from the snowy top.
Picnic at the lakeside, wandering around the picturesque town and not forgetting to visit the shrine, then finally the grand finale of Hakone trip was soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the starry sky.

11 Dec 2011:
Kamakura is located in Kanagawa Prefecture as well.
There was a group of volunteers, namely "Kanagawa Systematized Goodwill Guide" be our tour guide for the day trip this time.
With their accompany, we visited Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine (鶴岡八幡宮), the largest Shinto shrine; Kōtokuin (高徳院)- home of the famous Great Buddha (大仏 Daibutsu); Hasedera (長谷寺)- home to the largest wooden statue in Japan, representing Buddhist deity Kannon.
We had story telling session, gaming session and continuous interacting session along the walking tour.
In the temple, we were taught to pray with the ‘5 yen’ (五元=有緣) coin to get blessing for love.
Along the walkway, we were told different kind of life experiences and cultural sharing which indeed very enlightening.
When the dusk arrived, the sunset at the seaside bid farewell with us, leaving us a fun-filled day full of sweet memories.
